Material Recycled Polyester We recycle used soda bottles, unusable second quality fabrics and worn out garments into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes. Technology At Patagonia we seek to build the best product and cause no unnecessary harm. That's our mission statement, and it takes many forms. As it applies to making products, we work hard to source materials and use processes that are less harmful to the Earth without compromising quality. Because to us, quality is not only how well a product performs and holds up, but also how it's made. FIT GUIDE: Though each Patagonia® product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, we can generalize our fit descriptions in four ways: Formfitting: Conforms to the body’s contours. Slim Fit: Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers. Regular Fit: Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Relaxed Fit: Drapes loosely on the body. THIS VEST HAS A REGULAR FIT. SIZING: Patagonia Sizing Information Measurements refer to body size, not garment dimensions, unless noted. Check the item description in the online store for special sizing notes. If you have questions, please check with Customer Service at 1-800-638-6464 before ordering. Shrinkage: Approximate shrinkage percentages are shown on product pages within the online store. Because garment length is most affected by shrinkage, use these to estimate how much length loss will occur. We test all of our clothes for shrinkage and build in an allowance if we expect 6% shrinkage or more, which we state in product page copy. Neck: Use a piece of string to measure the fullest part of the neck. Chest/Bust: Measurement should be taken around the fullest part, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Sleeves: With elbow bent, measure from center (back) of neck to elbow and down to wrist. Waist: Measure loosely around waist at the height you prefer to wear the waistband. Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fit well and measure from the crotch to the bottom of leg. All pants come with a finished hem. Hips: Stand, feet together, and measure around the largest circumference at hips. |
