Under the beautiful skies of San Francisco, the Lombardi Sports' Rooftop Yoga Class is a 60-minute all-levels class designed to promote a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle.
During Rooftop Yoga you’ll do standing, seated, and balancing postures, as well as inversions. The class begins with breath work and intention setting to center the mind and body. We then begin a gentle warm up for the body often consisting of easy Sun Salutations. As the class progresses we move toward flowing sequences that are offered with variations to suit all students’ levels. Here we also take time to explore the fundamentals of the postures like proper alignment and engaging our muscles to build a solid foundation, in addition to exploring how to work with the breath while in the pose. The classes are designed to build strength, increase flexibility and promote an overall feeling of well-being.
